Using Instructions
1. Water-based aluminum paste needs to be pre-dispersed before use. It is recommended to use pure water or glycol ethers such as ethylene glycol monobutyl ether for dilution. Mix 1:1 with water-based aluminum paste, soak for about 5 minutes, and then slowly stir at low speed until evenly dispersed.
2. The diluted water-based aluminum paste needs to be slowly added to the water-based material while stirring the base material. If necessary, some water-based dispersants or other water-based functional additives can be added to improve the effect. It should be noted that during the dispersion and stirring process, high agitated speeds should be avoided to prevent the generation of more bubbles and high shear forces that can damage the coating of the aluminum pigment and affect the stability of the paste. Suggest stirring at a speed of 300-800rpm.
Storage Instruction
1. Storage period 6-12 months of unopened aluminum paste. Avoid direct sunlight, storage temperature below 30 ℃, good ventilation.
2. There is no uniformity in the shelf life of water-based paints (or inks) that have been prepared. The acid value of water-based resins used by different manufacturers and the oxidation strength of additives in the formula are different, which will have different effects on water-based aluminum paste. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct temperature resistance tests on the samples of finished paints (or inks) in advance. The usual experience is that they can be stored in a constant temperature drying oven at 50 ℃ for one week without obvious swelling(gassing), gelatinization, crust and other negative phenomena. If the corresponding standard sample of the coating has no obvious extinction, it can be stored at room temperature for about 3 months to 6 months, and two weeks corresponds to a storage period of approximately 6 months to 1 year.
