Water-Based Aluminum Suspension
The Water-Based Aluminum Suspension is suspended throughout the resin. Its arrangement is disordered, presenting a metallic effect with color variation according to the angle. It does not easily settle, has high covering power, strong metallic feel, and high stability. However, its coloration performance is not good, and the production process is relatively complicated. It is suitable for some special industries, such as electrocoating paint and related industries.
The precipitation of water-based immersion silver forms an irregular directional arrangement in the paint film. After the resin is cured, it will produce a special "color flop" effect. Water-based immersion silver also has better coloring properties, but its metallic feel is weaker than that of water-based floating aluminum-silver pastes, but it is better than water-based non-floating aluminum-silver pastes on the market. In addition, water-based immersion silver can well highlight the brightness of the resin, with high adhesion and strong stability.
Water-based leafing aluminum paste is arranged in parallel in the resin, it floats on the resin surface, showing a superb metallic feeling, close to the effect of electroplating, high covering power and high stability, but the defects are also obvious: poor adhesion and poor colourability. However, it is possible to have good adhesion in a good water-based resin system.
Water-based high leafing aluminum paste is arranged in parallel in the resin, it floats on the surface of the resin, has a better metallic feel than water-based leafing aluminum paste, is close to the effect of electroplating, has high covering power and is stable. However, it has the same drawbacks as water-based leafing aluminum paste: poorer adhesion and colourability. However, it is possible to achieve good adhesion in a good water-based resin system.
